Research Interests

Thirty years as a space physicist working for NOAA and the US Air Force.

Retired in 2019 and now working part time for CIRES.

 

Current Research

My interests:

  • Understanding the impact of space weather on the terrestrial environment.
  • Forecasting the location and intensity of the aurora.
  • Measuring the solar X-Ray and EUV irradiance and using GOES solar data in terrestrial models.
  • Public outreach.
