Karla is an undergraduate Student Assistant at CIRES Education & Outreach. She is a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she is studying Sociology and Environmental Studies. She supports various E&O programs including RECCS, the E&O evaluation team, and others. She is interested in learning about how people interact with the environment and how environmental issues impact diverse communities. She is passionate about the environmental justice movement and aims to look at climate change from a social justice perspective.
