Alex Bradley
- Bachelor's in Chemistry from Trinity University, 2020
Research Interests
I'm a fourth year graduate student in Joost de Gouw's lab where I study urban air pollution and methane emissions using remote sensing, and am well on my way to obtaining a graduate certificate in Environmental Justice. Once I graduate with my degree, I hope to get into government regulatory or policy work where I hope to further advance the principles of environmental justice and make the air more breathable for everyone.
When I'm not downloading data from satellites, I like to play with my cat, Spooky, swing dance, bake and go to haunted houses!
Current Research
I am interested in urban air pollution and air pollution disparities between demographic groups. I use diverse sources of data to create a comprehensive look at the city of Denver, including historical and sociological sources that help put the data into context. I'm an avid proponent of Environmental Justice and try to find a way to tie in the human element to all of my research.
