Research Interests

I primarily work on web and climate data storage and distribution. In particular, I create and help design web tools that allow researchers, students, resources managers, and others to analyze climate and weather data. I also have done research on different statistical techniques and how they can/ought to be used in meteorology. I have also studied ENSO and temperature/precipitation relationships. A hobby of mine is Boulder weather and I have maintained the NOAA/PSL Boulder weather and climate page for over 20 years.
