Research Interests
I am a PhD candidate in Atmospheric Chemistry advised by Prof. Rainer Volkamer. I received my B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington in 2023, where I worked with Prof. Jonathan Raff.
Current Research
My research focuses on quantifying reactive nitrogen in the atmosphere using optical spectroscopy. I study ozone photochemistry here in the Colorado Front Range with aircraft MAX-DOAS (a passive remote sensing technique) measurements of nitrogen dioxide and formaldehyde. I also deploy a tunable infrared laser (TILDAS) instrument to measure ammonia at the CERN CLOUD chamber, where I am interested in understanding how ultralow ammonia contributes to new particle formation in the atmosphere.
