Current Research
I analyze natural and anthropgenic variables to better understand how land use and land cover change impact wildlife movement patterns. My work focuses on the development of reproducible tools (using code to create models and maps) that visualize animal behavior past, present and scenario-based projections into the future. I am hoping these tools will support the needs of wildlife management by helping to prevent and mitigate human-wildlife conflict for a variety of stakeholders.
