  • Cross-calibration and correction of long-term radiation belt and solar energetic particle data sets
  • Use of space radiation data to understand on-orbit satellite anomalies
  • Sources, losses and behavior of highly-relativistic electrons in Earth's radiation belts
  • Dynamics of polar cap and cusp aurora

Current Research

  • Calibration and validation of solar and galactic energetic heavy ion measurements from the GOES-R satellite series
  • Development of calibration algorithms for the SupraThermal Ion Sensor (STIS) on the Space Weather Follow-On - Lagrange 1 (SWFO-L1) mission
  • Characterization of altitude profiles of charged particle radiation from the Space Environment Monitor (SEM)-2 on the Metop-A satellite during its deorbiting
