Advancing CIRES technology

The CIRES website got a new look last fall, but the big update didn’t happen overnight. CIRES IT’s Matt Price was one of the people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to develop the new-and-improved site, and now, he is helping some of CIRES’ centers, programs, and project teams update their websites, too. Price is a self-taught graphic designer and web developer who started freelancing in high school. After college, he started his career as a graphic designer and copywriter, but soon after, he realized he had a knack for web development, so he shifted his focus. “I always love learning new skills, taking on complex projects, and streamlining workflows, but most of all, I am always excited about finding ways to make all our projects look and function their absolute best,” he said. Price’s favorite animal is a sea otter (“hands down”), and he drinks cappuccinos at an “unhealthy level.”
