Anna LaSusa, an undergraduate student assistant at the Center for Education, Engagement, and Evaluation (CEEE), supports the ADVACEing Field Safety and Girls* on Rock programs. They are also working toward a degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at CU Boulder. Over the past 2 years, LaSusa participated in 4 polar expeditions — 2 in Antarctica and 2 in Denali. On the weekends, you can find them outside, “doing long trail runs in the mountains or climbing at a local crag.” And they enjoy racing to eat mac and cheese before it refreezes in the cold.
