Join the CIRES Strategic Imperative #4 Champions for a training on November 7, 2024, from 1 - 2:30 pm in the CIRES Auditorium. We will give an overview of best practices for communicating science outside of academia and then dive into how to create videos and animations of your science for a lay audience. This will be the first in a series of trainings to prepare CIRES researchers for the inaugural CIRES science illustration contest, which will be held in early 2025. Snacks will be provided! Join in person at CIRES or virtually via Zoom. This training will be recorded for those who cannot attend. We will hold another session on this topic on November 13, 2024, at the NOAA DSRC (both sessions will have the same content; no need to attend both).

Please register via this Google form!

Registration is not required but preferred, as we hope to get an estimate of how many people will attend.
