Communication Tools for Effective Outreach

Specialists from CU Boulder's Strategic Media Relations, Science Discovery, and the Office for Outreach and Engagement shared insights and tools for engaging with K-12 students, community members, and other public audiences and for telling your story to the media and through social media.

This informative evening included a panel presentation and discussion on communication tools for effective outreach and workshop sessions led by each presenter that focused on K-12 settings, adult public audiences, print media/journalists and social media.

The Engaged Scientist series was coordinated by CU's new Albert A. Bartlett Center for Science Communication, CIRES Education and Outreach, INSTAAR, and Learn More About Climate at the Office for Outreach and Engagement.
