We are a vibrant group of enthusiastic scientists who work on research questions we find interesting and important for society — from our local communities to the global scale. We support one another as whole people and honor one another's interests outside of science. We enjoy humor, play, and coffee.

In science, we push the frontier of understanding how people are changing global biogeochemical cycles. We are inclusive in our methodological approaches and are continually learning new techniques, as they pertain to our study questions. The success of our research in informing action is rooted in partnerships that we have developed over decades with farmers, policymakers, and stakeholders.
