Fadil Inceoglu, a CIRES research scientist with NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information, uses artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to interpret data from GOES satellites, with a focus on solar and heliospheric physics. "I love creating synergies among different fields of solar and heliospheric physics by building bridges between them," Inceoglu says. His favorite books are the Harry Potter series, and some of the best advice he got was from his father, who told him, "If you want to be different from others, be different with what you had accomplished with your life."
