Highlights of CIRES science at AGU 2021
More than 200 CIRES scientists present important work at the meeting
Every year, more than 200 CIRES scientists and colleagues present important work during the AGU Fall Meeting. See below for this year's highlights, organized by theme. These highlights do not necessarily reflect the importance of the science; rather, they reflect talks, posters and discussions likely to be of interest to a broad scientific audience.
This year's AGU Fall Meeting will follow a hybrid model: all presentations and posters can be attended either in person in New Orleans, or online. Follow the linked abstract codes below for more information (AGU will be updating these links to include the virtual stream).
In addition to talks and posters, CIRES researchers will sit on panels for press events:
- The Threat from Thwaites: The retreat of Antarctica’s riskiest glacier (including CIRES' Ted Scambos and other experts from the International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration)
- NOAA's Arctic Report Card (Including NSIDC's Twila Moon and others in CIRES and NOAA)
Listings below are ordered by time and date in Central Time. Click for presentation and poster highlights by theme (the AGU schedule will default to your preferred time zone when you click.) Please note you may have to log in with your AGU credentials to view:
